A short cruising trip on the Nile for 5 days to explore the old Egyptian way in sailing, with less number of people onboard you will have much more comfort and privacy, this trip will show you the highlights of sites along the Nile river from Aswan to Luxor, with a boat moors on the Nile you can experience things not available with Huge Nile cruises

Day 1

Transfer to Dahabeya in Aswan and embarkation onboard
Sail to Herdiab island and overnight onboard

Day 2

Sail to Kom Ombo and visit Sobek and Harories temple. Sail to Ramady Island and view of Silsila temple

Sail to Edfu, and visit Hours temple, sail to Luxor via Esna

Day 4

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Check in – Aswan – Herdiab Island

Early morning transfer to your Dahabeya and embarkation onboard in Aswan for a relaxing cruise sailing the Nile. Your ship starts mooring the Nile till we reach Herdiab Island, we have dinner and overnight onboard

Day 2: Kom Ombo – El Ramady Island – Silsila

Today we will continue sailing early morning to Kom Ombo to see the Ptolemaic temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon-headed Horus, god of the morning Sun. Animals associated with the gods were revered in ancient Egypt.

Day 3: Edfu – Esna – Luxor

As the ship sails in the early morning to Edfu, we enjoy breakfast onboard. In Edfu we will enjoy a horse drawn carriage ride to the temple of Hours. The large temple complex was built between 237 BCE to 57 BCE, into the reign of Cleopatra VII. Built from sandstone block
Return to the Dahabiya again and sail to Esna, cross through the Esna lock and continue sailing to Luxor

Day 4: Luxor

After breakfast depart for an excursion to the West Bank for visits to the burial places of the Pharaohs “The Valley of the Kings” where Howard Carter discovered the tomb of Tutankhamen in 1922. Visit several of the tombs, where you will see the differing styles of construction and the magnificent paintings on the walls and ceilings of the tombs.
We continue with our guide to visit the adjacent Valley of the Queens where royal women and children were buried.
Later, we continue to see Queen Hatshepsut's Temple, the reconstructed temple of fascinating ruler of Egypt.
We will see also the Colossi of Memnon, two statues of Ramses, that emit an unusual groaning noise when the wind blows just right through several cracks in the statues
Continue our visits to see the magnificent temple complex of Amon-Ra at Karnak, with its vast hypostyle hall of 137 columns. Which is dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amon, Mut, and Khonso, and is the largest religious complex in the world
We will continue to visit to the imposing 28th Dynasty Luxor Temple. The temple was started by Amenophis III in the 14th century B.C. and extended by Ramses II. This temple is smaller, but just as beautiful as Karnak, and contains a statue of King Tut and his bride.
After a full day of sightseeing in Luxor, we return to our ship for overnight moored in Luxor.

Disembarkation and transfer to your location in Luxor
