In this package, we will have a great chance to explore the legendary Egyptian oases of the Western Desert, beginning from Cairo to the pearl of the Mediterranean “Alexandria”, and then continue tracing Alexander the Great way to Siwa Oasis through Marsa Matrouh. Traveling through sand dunes and fabulous chalk formations, we will spend few days exploring the Bahareya, Farafra Kharga and Dakhla Oases, till we reach Luxor

Day 1

Meet and assist at Cairo international airport and transfer to hotel for overnight in Cairo

Day 2

Visit Egyptian Museum, Great Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx

Day 3

Transfer from Cairo to Alexandria and visit Catacombs, the Pompeii Pillar, and fort of Qait Bay, Greco Roman Museum, Abu El-Abbas Mosque, Montazah gardens and the famous library

Day 4

Transfer from Alexandria to Marsa Matruh via Alamien and visit WWII Museum and the war memorial

Transfer from Marsa Matrouh to Siwa Oasis, and visit Shali Gebal el Mawta and Gabal El Dakrour

Travel from Siwa Oasis to Bahareya oasis through the Libyan desert

Transfer from White desert to Dakhla oasis and visit El Qasr, Deir El Hajar

Transfer from Dakhla Oasis to El Kharga Oasis, and visit the Temple of Hibis, the Temple of Nadura and the Museum of Kharga

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival - Cairo

Arrival to Cairo International Airport, and assisted by Stylish Holidays representative
Our representative will transfer you to your hotel in Cairo
Overnight at hotel in Cairo

Day 2: Cairo

After breakfast, the program starts with the famous Egyptian Museum, with its great collection of works of art. Here, the Tut-anch-Amun Tomb treasure must also be visited. In these rooms, one is literally submerged in the gloss of old Egypt.
We continue after that to visit the Gizeh Pyramids and the Sphinx. Lunch will be served during tour at a local restaurant

Day 3: Cairo – Alexandria

After early breakfast at hotel, we will drive to Alexandria, and visit of the Catacombs, the Pompeii Pillar, and fort of Qait Bay, Greco Roman Museum, Abu El-Abbas Mosque, Montazah gardens and the famous library.
After noon you will have free time in Alexandria

Day 4: Alexandria – Alamien – Marsa Matrouh

Early morning, we will travel to the Mediterranean coast, via El Alamein in direction of Marsa Matrouh (about 500 KM)
We will overnight at Marsa Matouh

Day 5: Marsa Matrouh – Siwa

After breakfast at hotel, we will continue driving to Siwa Oasis, a place where Bedouin and desert traditions are still conserved.
There we will visit Shali, Gebal el Mawta and Gabal El Dakrour

Day 6: Siwa

After breakfast we will continue exploring Siwa.  We will visit the Cleopatra hot spring and the Temple of Amun.

Day 7: Siwa – Bahariya

After breakfast at hotel, we continue our journey through the Libyan desert in direction of Bahariya Oasis.

Day 8: Bahariya – White Desert

Proceeding to Farafra, and we will see the Black Desert, the Cristal Mountain and finally the White Desert.
Dinner and overnight in camp under the stars

Day 9: White Desert – Farafra – Dakhla Oasis

In the morning, visit of the native museum and then we proceed towards the most beautiful oasis of the Western Desert, Dakhla Oasis.  Here we will visit El Qasr and Deir El Hajar, the ‘Monastery of stones’, a temple dated from the Roman emperors and later occupied by Christian monks.

Day 10: Dakhla Oasis – Kharga Oasis

We proceed today in direction of Kharga Oasis and admire the numerous dunes on the way.  Once in Kharga Oasis, which has an important historical and cultural past, we will visit the Temple of Hibis, the Temple of Nadura and the Museum of Kharga.  Overnight in the hotel in Kharga

Day 11: Kharga Oasis – Luxor

After breakfast we leave the desert in direction to the Nile.  In the afternoon we arrive in Luxor.

Day 12: Luxor – Departure

Transfer to the airport in Luxor and return flight
