Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival – Cairo

Meet and assist at Cairo airport by Stylish Holidays representative, and transfer to our hotel in Cairo for overnight

Day 2: Cairo  

Breakfast at hotel, and then we will start our first visits in Egypt to the Egyptian Museum, and the most famous attractions in the world
We will drive through Cairo till we reach El Tahrir Square, where we will visit the Egyptian Museum hosting the largest collection of Pharaonic displays in the whole world including the startling treasures of King Tut Ankh Amun and the Royal mummies' hall, this besides many other exhibitions form different Pharaonic periods
Later, we will go to have our lunch en route to Giza, then we will reach the Pyramids of Giza, the most popular monument in the whole world, built by the pharaohs from the period starting from 2590 BC to 2480 BC, and after that we will see the Great Sphinx
At the afternoon, we will return back to our hotel for free time for relaxation or go to explore Cairo by night with one of Stylish Holidays optional tours in Cairo
Then, we will spend the overnight at hotel in Cairo

Day 3: Cairo – Bahariya Oasis

After breakfast at hotel, we will check out and start our trip to the desert, we will drive to Bahareya Oasis (about 365 kilometers to the South West of Cairo)
When we arrive to Oasis of Bahareya, we will go around the oasis to explore it and view the natural water springs and the wonderful natural scenery. We will visit the Valley of the Golden Mummies; this necropolis dating back as the largest and most important tombs belonging to the Roman period was discovered by Zahi Hawas in 1999. There were hundreds of tombs scattered over a surface area of 36 square kilometers. Later we arrive to our hotel in Bahareya for dinner and overnight

Day 4: Bahariya Oasis – White Desert

After breakfast at hotel, we start our 4x4 jeep tour, and we move towards the Black Desert, which was named that way because of the color of the rocks and mountains located there. These rocks have gained their colors from black quartz that are present inside numerous rocks
We then continue our trip to the Farafra Oasis, and on our way we visit the crystal mountain, one of the most famous attractions of the white desert. This Egyptian Western desert wonder consists of large quartz naturally formed crystals inside many rocks and stones creating a startling magical scene.
Later, we reach the internationally famous White Desert, the most important attraction in the Western Desert of Egypt. It consists of bizarre chalk white rock formations that were once the surface of a shallow sea that covered this area in prehistoric times. The rocks create all sorts of shapes like mushrooms, animals, and strange looking sculptures. All this area has become a natural protected area during the last few years.
At the end of the day, we set up our camp in the desert to enjoy the magical atmosphere of the region, watch the stars, have an amazing barbeque party, and spend the night in our comfortable camp.

Day 5: White Desert – Farafra Oasis – Dakhla Oasis

After breakfast at desert camp, we prepare in our camp and we are ready to continue in the desert, we will drive to Farafra Oasis, located 180 kilometers to the South of Bahariya where we have an amazing chance to swim in one of the natural water springs located in the city. Later, we will visit Badr Museum, which is a splendid small museum hosting the work of Badr Abdel Moghny, a self-taught local artist, illustrating the art and the culture of the Farafra Oasis
Afterwards we drive to the Dakhla Oasis, the capital of the Egyptian oases during the Pharaonic times which is now famous for its many historical sites, natural scenery, and handmade products. And visit the old City of Dakhla
After that we will visit Al Qasr, which is an ancient Islamic village with houses and mosques all around it this village was inhabited more than 500 years ago. We continue our way and visit the temple of Deir Al Hagar or the monastery of the stone in the Arabic language. This temple which was constructed during the Roman period and in particular during the reign of Nero (54- 68 AD) is dedicated to the Theban triad; Amun, Mut, and Khonsu and it is considered one of the finest examples of the architecture of the period.
At the end of the day we arrive to Dakhla city, and we check in at hotel for dinner and overnight

Day 6: Dakhla Oasis – Kharga Oasis

After breakfast at hotel in Dakhla Oasis, we go on with our tour to reach Al Kharga Oasis. Inhabited since prehistoric times, the Kharga Oasis is the most populated town in the Western Desert.
We will start our visits by seeing The Christian Cemetery of Bagawat, the oldest major Christian cemetery in the world and a main tourist attraction for Kharga Oasis, the cemetery consists of a vast expanse of domed mud brick mausoleums and underground galleries dating back to the 4th century AD, which were built over the site of an earlier Egyptian necropolis of pit-graves. And it is believed to have been in constant use until the 11th century, although the mudbrick structures date only up to the 7th century. The architectural style of the 263 tomb-chapels varies from simple one-room structures to family mausoleums with ornate facades enhanced with faux columns and arches and domed roofs.
Our next visit will be Kharga Museum, hosting a number of exhibits that were found in the area dating back from prehistoric times to the Coptic period
Finally, we reach our hotel in Kharga oasis and check in for our dinner and overnight

Day 7: Kharga Oasis – Luxor

After having the best breakfast, we take our minivan and start our trip towards Luxor
Upon arrival to Luxor, we head to our hotel for check in and spend the rest of the day in relaxation, or we can go with a selected option trip offered to explore Luxor city by night

Day 8: Luxor - Nile Cruise  

After breakfast at hotel, we will be transferred to our next 5 days Nile cruise, we will check in onboard of Nile cruise, and start our visits in Luxor, we will start by the temple of Karnak, the largest religious Pharaonic structure ever built in the world. The kings of the Pharaohs staring from the 11th dynasty (2055 – 1985 BC) began adding their mark, one after the other, to this huge complex of Pharaonic temples. The Karnak temple includes the breathtaking hypostyle hall of the god Amun built by Ramses II in 1244 BC, the sacred lake of god Amun, and many more attractions.
After that we will go to Luxor Temple. Dedicated to the holy Theban triad, the gods Amun, Mut, and Khonsu, it is one of the finest examples of the Pharaonic architecture. Although the construction work of the temple was mainly completed by Amenhotep III (1390 – 1352 BC) and Ramses II (1279 1213 BC), many kings who came afterwards have added their marks to this great complex including Alexander the Great. The Luxor temple was buried under sand and dust for years until it was discovered in 1881.
After noon, we will have free time to explore Luxor with our own, or have an option trip in Luxor

Day 9: Nile Cruise   

Today after breakfast onboard of Nile cruise, we will visit the Valley of the Kings, the necropolis of the Pharaonic New Kingdom. Starting from 17th dynasty, the Pharaonic Kings tried to hide their royal tombs from robbers. This was why they began to dig their tombs deep inside a Theban mountain that has a natural pyramid structure. These tombs have the finest colored decorations with the famous tomb of Tut Ankh Amun discovered by Howard Carter in 1922 and may other royal tombs belonging to the kings of the 18th and the 19th dynasty. Our next visit will be the amazing the mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut. This temple was constructed by the 18th dynasty Queen Hatshepsut (1473 – 1458 BC) as a unique structure rising from the desert in the shape of imposing terraces. This temple was used as a monastery in the Christian era. This is why it is famous for the name "El Deir Al Bahry", or the Western Monastery.
Our last visit in Luxor will be the gigantic Colossi of Memnon. These two 18 meters high statues are the only remaining items of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. During the roman era, music was heard coming out of one of the statues that were attributed, by the Greeks, as the legendary figure of Memnon greeting his mother Eos in one of the Greek myths.

Day 10: Nile Cruise

After breakfast, we will visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. This temple is the largest and best preserved Ptolemaic temple in Egypt. The building work of the temple started during the reign of Ptolemy III in 237 BC and the construction continued until 80 BC. The temple includes wonderfully decorated walls and stone capitals.     
Our Nile cruise will continue sailing till we reach the City of Kom Ombo, and we will have a chance to explore the amazing Temple Of Kom Ombo dedicated to two gods; Horus, the falcon god, and Sobek, the crocodile god. The Greco-Roman temple is famous for its matchless location overlooking the Nile. Construction work of the temple started in the 2nd century BC by Ptolemy VI and was completed during the reign of Ptolemy XII during the 1st century AD.

Day 11: Nile Cruise

When we arrive to Aswan, we will start our visits with one of the most beautiful temples constructed in Egypt, the Temple of Philae. This fabulous temple dedicated to the goddess Isis was constructed as one of the finest examples of the combined architecture of ancient Egyptians and the Greco-Romans styles.
This temple, due to the construction of the High Dam was all covered with water until it was relocated in its present day location in the Agilika Island by the UNESCO project that took 8 years from 1972 to 1980 to be completed. Our next visit will be the High Dam, built by the former Egyptian president, Gamal Abdel Nasser in the 1960s to reserve the Nile Water that was lost every year in the artificial Nasser Lake. The High Dam, that was viewed as an architectural miracle at the time, also generates a lot of the electricity consumed in Egypt, afterwards, we will go to visit the famous unfinished obelisk, a gigantic granite obelisk dating back to the Pharaohs New Kingdom. If this huge obelisk was completed it would have weighed more than 1197 tons. This will be a marvelous chance to understand how the ancient Egyptians were capable of building such gigantic structures.
We return back top our Nile cruise ship, and spend the last night onboard of the Nile cruise

Day 12: Aswan - Cairo   

After our last breakfast onboard of the Nile cruise ship, we check out and go for a special tour in Aswan, we will sail down the Nile in the old styled Felucca to visit the Botanical  Garden , Also named the Plants Island, the Kitchener's Island is one of the most wonderful places in Aswan. Being covered with botanical gardens, the island is an amazing place to relax and walk under the trees. In the 1890s, Horatio Kitchener was rewarded by this island because of his successful campaign leading the Egyptian army in Sudan. His love of plants and flowers was truly reflected in this island that he lived in for the rest of his life.
After that we will be transferred to Aswan airport for flight back to Cairo
Upon arrival to Cairo, we will be transfer to our hotel in Cairo
In the evening, we will have free time to explore Cairo with our own, or go for an optional trip suggested by our Stylish Holidays representative
We will spend our night in Cairo

Day 13: Cairo – Final Departure

After breakfast at hotel, we will check out and be ready for a transfer to Cairo airport for final departure
