Great desert expedition after a short Nile Cruise down the Nile river, our professionally designed trip will take you in a marvelous Nile cruise sailing trip down the Nile to Luxor, where your desert carven is ready and waiting for you to enter the desert for five days desert safari journey, takes you to Cairo with stops in the major desert oases

Day 1

Meet and assist at Cairo International airport and transfer to hotel for overnight in Cairo

Day 2

Visit Great Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx, lunch and visit Sakkara
Transfer to train station for overnight train to Aswan

Day 3

Arrive Aswan early morning and start visits to High Dam, Temple of Philae and Unfinished Obelisk
Embarkation onboard at Nile cruise and spend free time afternoon in Aswan
Overnight onboard of Nile Cruise

Day 4

Sail to Kom Ombo and visit Sobek and Harrories temple in Kom Ombo
Sail to Edfu and visit the Hours temple in Edfu
Continue sailing to Luxor via Esna Lock

Disembarkation from Nile cruise and visit Karnak and Luxor temples
Transfer to hotel for overnight in Luxor

Day 7

Transfer from Luxor to Kharga Oasis and have desert exploration and visit to Qasr el Labeka

Day 8

Drive to Dakhla Oasis and have an exploration trip to the oasis. Visit Deir El Hagar and Mezzawaqqah

Day 9

Travel from Dakhla Oasis to Farafra oasis, and explore the White desert
Overnight at tents in desert

Day 10

Travel to Bahareia oasis and on the way visit Crystal Mountain, Valley of Aqabat, Valley of El Haize and Badr Museum
Overnight at hotel in Bahareaya oasis

Day 11

Visit the English House, temple of Alexander the Great and Valley of Golden Mummies if possible
Transfer from Bahareya oasis to Cairo

Day 12

Visit Egyptian Museum, Salah El Din citadel and Mohamed Ali Mosque

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Cairo - Arrival

Meet and assist at Cairo international airport upon arrival by Stylish Holidays Representative who will assist you through airport customs and formalities.
Then, you will be escorted to your Hotel for overnight at Cairo

Day 2: Cairo – Night Train

After Breakfast at hotel, we will be accompanied by our Egyptologist guide to explore the City of Cairo. Starting by Giza Plateau where rise the three Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mycrenios which is considered one of the seven wonders of the world and the nearly Sphinx, The steadfast guard of the land of Pharaohs, featuring the mask of Chephren and the body of a Lion keeps watching over them.
After exploring the area and making photos, we continue to Sakkara, the first capital of ancient Egypt where exists the step Pyramid built by king Zoser in 2700 B.C.
Afternoon, we will enjoy a Felucca ride on the majestic Nile
After that, we will be transferred to Giza Train station for night train to Aswan

Day 3: Night Train – Aswan – Nile Cruise

We arrive to Aswan and star our tours to visit the world famous High Dam, and engineering miracle, it was built in 1960 and it provides electricity and irrigation for the whole of Egypt.
Transfer to visit Philae Temple dedicated to the Goddess Isis and it includes various shrines and sanctuaries. Then proceed to the unfinished Obelisk (The Granite Quarries). Later on we head to our Nile cruise for embarkation onboard
After Lunch onboard, we will enjoy free time in Aswan and later the Nile cruise will sail to Kom Ombo

Day 4: Nile Cruise – Kom Ombo – Edfu - Esna

After breakfast onboard, we arrive to Kom Ombo
We start a tour to visit Kom Ombo temple, a double temple dedicated to two Gods, The right hand Temple dedicated to the crocodile God, Sebek while the Left Hand Temple dedicated to Horus The Great, The Solar God of war.
Later, we return back top back to our Nile Cruise for Lunch, and continue sailing to Edfu, when arrive to Edfu, we ride a hors drawn carriage to Hours temple in Edfu to see visit the temple dedicated to God Horus.
We return back to our Nile cruise and continue sailing towards Esna, Our Nile cruise will cross Esna Lock and continue sailing to Luxor

Day 5: Nile Cruise – Luxor

After breakfast onboard, we start our visits in Luxor by visiting West Bank of the Nile in Luxor, including the Valley of the Kings, which was a complex of burial chambers for the Pharaohs. Then visit the Hatshepsut Temple and then the two gigantic statues of Memnon
Afternoon we have a free time for optional tour or own exploration to Luxor city
in the evening, we enjoy Galabia Party and oriental Dinner

Day 6: Luxor

After breakfast, we disembark from our Nile Cruise and go for sightseeing to the East bank of the Nile in Luxor, The Temple of Luxor and The Temple of Karnak which were linked together by an avenue ram-headed Sphinxes.
Later we will check in at our Luxor hotel and we have free time afternoon

Day 7: Luxor – Kharga Oasis

Today after breakfast, we will check out from our hotel and start our tour in the desert, we will drive from Luxor to Kharga Oasis (560KM) about 6 hours driving
We will reach Kharga Oasis and check in at our hotel
Then we will go on a tour to explore Kharga Oasis City, famous for its hot springs.
We will see Qasr el Labeka, a Roman fortress on the old caravan route.
We will return back to our hotel for overnight

Day 8: Kharga Oasis – Dakhla Oasis

After Breakfast at hotel, we will drive to Dakhla Oases, and have a trip around Dakhla Oasis, the last place in Egypt where the water wheels, driven by buffaloes, are constructed. Later we will visit the Roman temple Deir El Hagar in its serene surroundings and the Roman burial ground Mezzawaqqah.
At evening, we will overnight at hotel in Dakhla.

Day 9: Dakhla Oasis – Farafra Oasis – White Desert

After Breakfast, we proceed through Sand dunes and Mountains to the magnificent White Desert, where you can see amazing rock formations, watch the sunset, and camp under the stars in this paradise of tranquility.

Day 10: Farafra Oasis – Bahareya Oasis

After Breakfast in the desert, we drive in our way surrounded by rose colored cliffs, passing through the Black Desert and the Valley of El Haize with its hot spring.
Stop off to see the quartz crystal at Crystal Mountain and the volcanic rocks and petrified wood in the Valley of Agabat Move on by Farafra Oasis, tour around to see the palm groves and hot springs, as well as the old village of traditional mud-brick houses, and local artist Badr's unique mud brick museum
We arrive later to Bahariya for overnight

Day 11: Bahareya Oasis - Cairo

After Breakfast, we walk around the old village of the oasis and see the groves of palms and fruit trees. Local tour to the hill top ruin 'the English House', the Temple of Alexander and the Golden Valley of Mummies (If Possible), Hot and Cold source of Water. We return to Baharia for lunch and continue our way back to Cairo

Day 12: Cairo

After breakfast at hotel, we will go on a tour to visit Egyptian Museum, which houses thousands of master pieces of ancient Egyptian art, and also house the treasure of King Tut Ankh Amoun. Then we will go for a local lunch at local restaurant in Cairo
Later we proceed to see the Citadel of Salah El Din and the alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali
We have free time afternoon

Day 13: Cairo

Breakfast at our hotel, and enjoy a free day in Cairo for relaxing or go for an optional tour in Cairo or Alexandria
