The Egyptian Museum, you will find the fabulous collection of King Tutankhamun and monuments from all periods of Egyptian history, from the pre historic era to the Greco-Roman period.

First built in Boulak, in 1891 it was moved to the Giza Palace of “Ismail Pasha” which housed the antiquities that were later moved to the present building.

Housing 120,000 Egyptian artifacts, the Egyptian Museum in Cairo attracts millions of visitors each year. The highlights for most are the rooms containing the priceless treasures of King Tutankhamon. His 6 gold gilded coffins, each one smaller and more intricately decorated than the last, dominate the main hall, while his magnificent death mask is the must-see item of the day.

The Royal Mummies Room (with additional cost) is another highlight of the Egyptian Museum. Here you can see the mummies of many great Egyptian rulers, including Ramses II, the builder of the temples at Abu Simbel. The Alabaster Mosque at the Citadel of Salah el-Din sits a top a limestone hill overlooking Cairo and is the most important mosque in the city. Still used a place of worship today by the Muslims of Cairo, the architectural masterpiece opens its doors to visitors of all faiths. The lower part of the Mosque is clad inside and out with Alabaster, while the top part is constructed from the limestone cladding removed from the Pyramids of Giza. Inside the mosque your guide will introduce you to the basic beliefs of Islam, including a translation of the most common prayers.
After that we continue to Khan el Khalili bazaar, your guide will give you an introduction to the famous markets which claim to have inspired Christopher Columbus to discover the USA. Enjoy free time to stroll through the maze of streets and try your luck bargaining with the shop owners for a souvenir of your trip to Egypt.
Continue to the Mosque and Madrassa (school) of Sultan Hassan. Built between 1356 and 1363, and is believed to be one of the finest examples of Mamluk architecture in Cairo. The mosque is also considered one of the largest, not only in Cairo but in the whole Islamic world, measuring some 492 feet (150 meters) long and 118 feet (36 meters) high. The highest minaret is 223 feet (68 meters) tall.

At the early morning, Stylish Holidays tour guide and driver will pickup you from your hotel and transfer you to Alexandria, about 3 hours far from Cairo which is the shining pearl of the Mediterranean Sea known as “The Pearl of the Mediterranean”. The most important City in Egypt after Cairo (called the second capital) and one of the most summer resort in the Middle East.
First we will visit Pompay’s Pillar. It was constructed in honor of the Emperor Diocletain at the end of the 4th century. Originally from the temple of the Serapis, it was once a magnificent structure rivaling the Soma and the Caesareum. If time permits, we will visit Alexandria Bibliotheca. Then proceed to Qaitbay Citadel which was built on the site of the ancient pharaoh’s lighthouse of Alexandria. Visit the Catacombs which are the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock and finally enjoy Montazah Palace. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Alexandria
After finishing visits in Alexandra, we will drive back to Cairo

Start your tour with Stylish Holidays tour guide in the morning by visiting Salah El Din Citadel which was constructed by Salah El Din on the Moquattam hills in 1183 AD to defend Cairo from the armies of Crusaders. After that visit Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque which was designed by the architect Yousif Boushnaq, a Turkish man who came especially from Istanbul and built this great mosque for Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt (1805-1849) who ruled Over 45 years. Then proceed to visit Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the most famous and oldest bazaars in the Middle East.

After that we will continue to visit Old Cairo where you will enjoy watching, the Hanging Church which named for its location above a gatehouse of Babylon Fortress

After that we visit Ben Ezra Synagogue, which was originally a Christian church, and the Coptic Christians of Cairo had to sell to the Jews in 882 AD. The church was purchased by Abraham Ben Ezra, who came from Jerusalem during the reign of Ahmed Ibn Tulun, for 20,000 dinars

Church of St. Barbara which is one of the oldest and the most remarkable churches in Cairo. It is situated on the eastern part of the Babylon fort and dates back to the 5th Century, though it was rebuilt around the 11th Century. It was named after St. Barbara, who was born in the beginning of the 3rd Century

Church of Abu Serga (Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church), which is traditionally believed to have been built on the spot where the Holy Family, Joseph, Mary and the infant Jesus Christ, rested at the end of their journey into Egypt. They may have lived here while Joseph worked at the fortress.

Starting with the Hanging Church which built into the walls of the water gate of the Roman fortress and is possibly the oldest Christian church in Egypt. Dedicated to the Virgin Mary, it is one of Cairo’s most beautiful churches.

Continue to the Monastery and Church of St George This is not an old church, dating from 1909, but there has been a church in Coptic Cairo dedicated to the Martyr since the 10th-century. It is one of the few remaining circular churches in the Middle East.

Your next stop is the Abu Serga, one of the places where the Holy Family rested after fleeing Israel from King Herod. At the turn of the century this little church, which dates from the 10th-century, was the most important pilgrimage spot in Old Cairo for visiting Christian tourists. There are 24 marble columns lining the central court, and a series of 12th-century icons depicting the 12 apostles.

After that we will visit Ben Ezra Synagogue is one of the oldest in Egypt. Set in a shady garden, it was built on the site of 4^th century Christian church.

On your way to the south you will visit the Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid at Dahshur, which constructed during the reign of Pharaoh Snofru (2613-2589 BCE), father of Khufu of the Old Kingdom. The shape of the Bent Pyramid is unique, and represents a transitional pyramid form believed to have been the result of an engineering crisis encountered during its construction. The Red Pyramid is the world’s first true smooth-sided pyramid.
